My name is Cameron Taylor and I’m the Principal at Nerve Media. Over the past 20+ years as an independent marketing writer I’ve worked with a broad spectrum of industries. My career started in Ottawa and migrated to Toronto before settling in Peterborough, where it’s easier to keep company with the wilds. Given business has no boundaries today, I maintain productive working relationships with clients near and far.
No need to oversell it, my approach is simply this: good work demands hard work. I’m accustomed to operating solo but thrive in the collaborative space – with in-house marketing teams, design agencies, project managers or directly with company executives. PETERBOROUGH ULTIMATE LEAGUE (PUL)League President, 2004 - 2016Helmed this local recreation organization, taking it from a one-season, eight-team league into a four-season, 60-team non-profit organization that includes over 700 members and has an annual working budget in excess of $100,000. PUL has garnered national recognition as a progressive, mid-sized league thanks to its initiatives on the environmental and juniors development front. Undertook and implemented strategic plan initiative for the adult league and continue to contribute to the sustainable development of a burgeoning juniors program.

Notably, helped with communications initiatives while sitting on the board for this documentary film festival. Developed and art directed the Reach campaign, the organization’s annual appeal to raise funds for the long term sustainability of the festival.
