The Asia Society Grounds

An oasis in the middle of Admiralty — 500 metres from Hong Kong Park with a fraction of the people. Some rules apply, but the results are spectacular. Better for small groups. Kind of secret, tbh.

Stanley

Murray House, the pier, small parks, old temples, fabulous rocks, and the laneways. The ultimate Southside location for outdoor family photos. Ice cream for the kids at the end.

Lingnan Garden

Like a Chinese movie set in Lai Chi Kok Park at Mei Foo, Kowloon. I know this place very well — bamboo, stained glass, antique-ish furniture, turtles, and lots of quiet. Timing is everything here.

Kowloon Park

My favourite park in the world. Endlessly versatile — Chinese architecture to lush gardens to a huge maze. Easy on the MTR.

Chung Hom Kok Beach

The hike down keeps a lot of people away — often completely quiet on weekdays. Ideal for relaxed, natural family photos on HK Island. Great jungle gym for the kids too.

Star Ferry, TST

The classic Hong Kong backdrop every family should use at least once. Best in the morning if you can swing it. The harbour light is something special.

As an alternative to the typical photo studio model — where a basic session is just a "foot in the door" for expensive add-ons — my all-inclusive approach is different.

The standard package includes the full high-resolution digital collection, a large set of colour-corrected proofs, and a hardcover album. Everything. One price.

To receive your album for the December holidays, sessions should be done in April–May. I really think about these projects — especially multi-year albums.

Also consider a hybrid Home Studio & Location session — the look of studio photography, with traditional outdoor portraits.
